About GRBO

There is an enormous amount of unused space in American neighbourhoods — garages holding one bicycle, driveways nobody parks in, docks with no boat on them. Meanwhile somebody two streets over is paying a storage facility on the far side of town, or parking an RV in a lot they do not like.

GRBO exists to connect those two people. Owners list the space, people who need it search a map and get in touch, and the two of them work out the rest. We take a single fee to publish the listing and then we are done — no cut of the rent, no monthly charge, no involvement in the arrangement.

What we are deliberately not

GRBO is built to work like a search tool, not a shopping funnel. There are no ads, no upsells, no interstitials, no “customers also viewed” carousels, and nothing on a page that does not help you find, evaluate or contact a space. If a feature only exists to increase time-on-site, it does not ship.

We are also not an agent, a broker, a property manager or an escrow service. We never hold your money. That is a deliberate choice, not an oversight — it keeps the model simple and keeps us out of the way.

A sister site

GRBO shares infrastructure with mappymail.com, which lets you tap a house on a map and mail that owner a physical letter without knowing their name or address. That capability is what powers mailing an owner about space that has never been listed.

Not affiliated with any travel or vacation rental service

GRBO is a garage, parking, and boat slip listing platform. It is not related to vacation rentals, lodging, accommodations, or travel booking services, and is not affiliated with any such service.

GRBO is a standalone brand name. It does not stand for anything, and we do not expand it into a phrase.
